A foundation university in Fatih, Istanbul, Kadir Has University, or KHAS, was founded in 1997 by the late Turkish philanthropist and industrialist Kadir Has.The Faculty of Art and Design, the Faculty of Communication, the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, and the Faculty of Law are the five faculties that comprise Kadir Has University. Kadir Has institution is a research institution that seeks to create both students with the highest standards of competency and high-quality research by creating a new, application- and project-based educational paradigm.
